Dewey didn't stumble upon the idea of wearing a vest until he got a job as a greeter at Humongo Mart, which was fitting, because they wouldn't let him in Humongo Mart without any clothes on. i like the early versions of dewey the best. he would make a great plushie :)
He does look like a plushie in that drawing. Dewey and Flip looked very human-like in the beginning, although Dewey still doesn't look too much like a bear, anyway.
