History

Blooming Dogleg Country Club has a long and dignified history. It began several decades ago as a center of city government but quickly converted into a psychiatric hospital. At the time, the owners thought the real turning point in making it a valuable piece of land was when it was visited by foreign dignitaries. Unfortunately, those dignitaries were fleeing Czarists from Russia who quickly established an autocracy which had a serious detriment on tee times. More to come...
